I think he is the best manager in the world right now, with Zidane a close 2nd and then Pep. We couldn't have done any better.
I've been a fan of Ancelotti since 2013 when he was at Real Madrid. The players loved him, you could tell. They didn't want him to leave including Ronaldo, but it was Perez that wanted a change.

Come on. Carlo has been sacked 3 times in the last 4 years.
To rate him above the likes of Guardiola, Simeone, Allegri, Klopp and Zidane is frankly nuts.
He is by far the best manager we have had since Howard in terms of a CV but we have to be realistic.
Yeah unbelievable that we have managed to attract such a manager it’s going to be interesting to say the leastI know - Carlo is arguably the most high profile manager we have ever appointed. I am certainly super excited to see what he can do!

Sacked from trigger happy clubs...Come on. Carlo has been sacked 3 times in the last 4 years.

He won a CL at Real and a league at Bayern. Even when he's sacked he's already won stuff.
He's won 15 major trophies.
Who did you want instead?
Have you got any pics of Ancelotti training today buddy.Yeah unbelievable that we have managed to attract such a manager it’s going to be interesting to say the least
He was sacked at Bayern while they were Champions.
He was sacked by Chelsea for finishing 2nd.
He was sacked by Napoli for finishing 2nd.
Give me that level of failure every year please Carlo.
Top six. Competing at varying levels over the last 20 years. We haven't got far to go then. There is hope for us.Well, again we’re going off topic somewhat so I don’t want to dwell on it but, In this country?
Top six.
If you want to expand the definition to include historically successful clubs like us, Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest (all of whom haven’t won a thing for several decades) then it becomes diluted and ceases to mean really anything.
The term “big club”, to me anyway, implies competing regularly for major honours, all of which the current top six do and have done at varying levels over the last 20 years.
Us and someone like Villa are still reputable clubs but it doesn’t and hasn’t translated into anything meaningful for generations of fans - we are no longer giants of the game and haven’t been for 30 odd years.
Perhaps a sleeping giant about to be awoken from it’s slumber?
