Everyone is trying to leave chinaWhile that's mostly true, you can bet if he was really just about the money he could have gone to China to earn at least twice what we're paying him for much, much less pressure in his role. I think it's a combination of 50% financial, 50% genuinely being interested in the project. What's money to him? He'll have about 100m in the bank.
Exactly why I always laugh at the relegation shouts. This league us full of utter dross but Prem League marketing disguises it as parityCarlo has done a good job but it just shows you how utter garbage this league is, we was bottom 3 in like November now joint 2nd in the form table while using a combination of Delph/Morgan/Davies/Siggy as our midfield.
That is exactly one of the take aways from Carlo's book "Quiet Leadership ".It’s no surprise that Tom Davies was omitted by Carlo today
don’t follow instructions, see ye later
There was absolutely nothing wrong with Rossiter , Beckinsale , Warrington and De La Tour - they would all improve our midfield too.We are very lucky to have Carlo in the manager's seat.
It's like Laurence Olivier appearing in Rising Damp.
Let's be realistic: Ancelotti doesn't stay anywhere these days too long.As Goat mentioned earlier. Ancelotti is a manager this club has been crying out for since Kendall left. It's a real statement of intent from the board and fair play to them for appointing him. Even with our long illustrious history, we have to build the club around him. In the same way, the neighbors did with Shankly.
The philosophy of the club from youth to seniors has to be symmetric. Tactically, mentally, physically. The board, run business and out of the media spotlight. Brands continues to oversee scouting etc. Get it shipshape and Ancelloti has to be given the wheel.
One more thing, did you hear our away support today. Magnificent. Yeah apparently they're to blame for the clubs ills. My arse.
Big Evertonian. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Rossiter , Beckinsale , Warrington and De La Tour - they would all improve our midfield too.
I honestly don't agree Dave, the reason he doesn't stay long at clubs is purely down to the type of Club he has been managing. He states in his book that he wanted the PSG gig to be long term, he then goes onto say that he hopes the Bayern job will be a long term gig. If given an opportunity to finally build his own team then it's here and now and I think he will see it through to the new stadium.Let's be realistic: Ancelotti doesn't stay anywhere these days too long.
We have him for maximum 3 years, IMO. So we better make use of his professionalism and expertise while we can.
If managers like Koeman, Alardyce and Silva have been backed to the hilt financially it makes no sense to close the purse strings when we have Ancelotti. There can be no sell to buy regime re-imposed at the club while he's here. He has to be given a minumum of £200M in the next three seasons to spend...a mix of player sales and cash invested. If that's done, I'd have high expectations of top 5/6 finish by the end of his time here.
Its astonishing he our manager when you see the managers appointed by Man u, arsenal and Chelsea.
Have you even watched a single game they've played bar the goodison one.
Awful shout.
