2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

Nothing wrong with Carlo, it's the players with the pea-sized balls who will continue to scupper this.

I have visions of Ancelotti chatting to Conte and Allegri and pissing himself telling them about how his new club's players are frightened to play on their own pitch.

‘How’s it been going Carlo?’ ‘I spent all last week on the training pitch teaching Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Keane to pass the ball forwards, only to get to match day and they completely ignored it’

Imo, we still have a bang average team. As much as I don’t like to put all fault on a manager, or the players for that matter, it is clear that this good run must be because of the one thing that has changed with this team; the addition of Ancelotti.

Tbf the turn of form started with big Dunc and the change of formation and a kick up the arse for the players. Just goes to show how completely inept Silva was with his bog standard 4231 groundhog day tactics as this is the same squad now as it was under silva. We are lucky to have Ancelloti in charge and any doubts about his commitment must be in the bin now. Coming here for the money etc, is he motivated after Napoli blah blah blah. Hes literally won everything there is to win in European football so will quickly weed the weak links of the squad out.

I honestly don't agree Dave, the reason he doesn't stay long at clubs is purely down to the type of Club he has been managing. He states in his book that he wanted the PSG gig to be long term, he then goes onto say that he hopes the Bayern job will be a long term gig. If given an opportunity to finally build his own team then it's here and now and I think he will see it through to the new stadium.
Exactly
I think he wants this to be his last job
Take an under performing club with ambition and money and bring them somewhere special.
It would be a fitting end to a stellar career if he could get us a couple of pots and CL a couple of seasons in a row,
Carlo leading Everton out to the sirens and Z cars on a warm Wednesday night in BMD in the CL would be a nice end to his career
