If the club back him then I really believe that we'll win something. He's an absolutely top draw coach, knows the game inside out and every team he manages plays like a team instead of a collection of overpaid sportsmen. Most importantly though he's a winner. He knows how to win and that sort of attitude transfers to his players. 2nd place is the best loser.

He has proven in the past and should prove in the future in Catterick/Kendall class as a manager for this club. But, so far his tactics have looked pretty hit and miss/random as you would expect,

We have deffo been on the lucky side of expected goals!
He was very poor v lpool in the cup and the Newcastle subs gave away 2 points. Also, how was Walcot still on the pitch against Watford when he got the winner. But non of that really matters in the long run.
He has already managed to improve league results just by being HIM!
Hopefully his decision making will gradually improve as his knowledge of the club/team goes forward.

How was Walcott on the pitch when he got the winner? Classic!!!

It’s not all about the result.

Remember within 2 weeks of being appointed Ancelloti was in charge of possibly the most humiliating defeat in generations.

It’s about making consistently good decisions that will see league/cup performances/results improve month on month, year on year.

Revisionist history there ... came in no time utilised coleman and sidibe on the right flank as an interchangeable 442 3232 got results against burnley and newcastle away whom at that point had only lost once or twice in the league at home. Admittedly poor couple of results with man city away to be expected and moreso the absolute bottle job from the players. Recognised that teams where sussing the right hand side switched to an impetus on the left with bernard against brighton scoreline should of been alot more than 1-0. Same system against westham went for the throat with all subs used by the 70th min. Battered Newcastle with the best footy I've seen this year only a freak result saw it 2-2. admittedly got lucky against watford but still managed to see the game outwith a switch to Keane and Mina.

This is whilst presumably both our first choice CM out injured in Gomes and Ghambin. Dealing with injuries to Iwobi, Bernard, Sigz richarlison and no right hand midfielder. The man has preformed miracles I've seen more tactical impetus in the last month than I've ever seen before in an everton side. Back this man and hes going to the top. And maybe your red tinted glasses might see the proper tidings.

Hmmm. Will give him credit and you make a couple of decent points but not convinced he’s performing miracles
We were utter garbage for the whole 90 minutes v westham and lucky to beat Newcastle away. We should have been dead and buried at half time v Watford and he froze in the Lpool game like the players.
still think it's mostly the players being bottlers. Some of them have been here for 4/5 managers

This is not his team but they play proper football than before as he said it several times that we can play better.
There is no miracle in the real world.
We need quality to play in the top level.
It is kind of wasting time for a manager like him to train basic football to some of our players lol

Where are you getting that we are on the lucky side of xG?
