No we don't. That's why instead of witsel and Mata we got bolasie and Williams

Literally noone gives a damn about us unless we have something to offer them. Mid table for years means we are a a meaningless club to sign for. Only thing we can attract players with currently is money and a potential stepping stone to a bigger team.

The more attractive we are, the more players sign on merit rather than cash. That's the difference Europe makes, that's what players want in their career. Rather than a back up left back from Barca , we can sign someone's first choice left back if we are glamorous enough.

That's why the top teams sign the best players , because they can offer trophies/ champions League football.

Spot on - Leicester and Wolves if given the funds will sign players we can only dream of

So, you’re telling me that since the Premier League introduced red cards, no manager has been worthy of one until Ancelotti wanted to ask why we had once against been done over by the officials? Something tells me that isn’t the case....View attachment 80237

This is classic case of bias towards the big clubs. We've seen it happen so often. I know other fans will say its easy for us to shout conspiracy theories, but we have never had that aura and that ralationship to be able to question. Its so obvious now that some clubs are favoured, and dno't tell me the FA and PL are nothing like UEFA or any other institution driven by money - obviously you need a 'big 6' and obviously you don't particularly want unfashionable smaller clubs in that big 6 - it doesnt dive the revenue.

At least now, if we have ancelotti and a couple of other 'big players' referees will think twice about messing with us
And maybe big dunc is given a voice on the pitch it'll help
A

We'll play grab ankles on this - we always do...except for that time Moyes bit back over clattenberg(?) and it faded away.
No redress of grievance, but on the quiet they backed down.
Remember under Moyes when Andy Johnson was getting multiple penalty shouts turned down by bent refs? Moyes "dealt" with the matter by inviting the referees to come into the club to instruct Johnson on where he was *going wrong*.

Moyes was an utter serf at heart.

Do you really believe that ?
If so, I don't think you are living in the real world.
Leicester had a great start to the season but that has tapered off alarmingly. In truth, they are almost completely dependent on Vardy.
Wolves are a good club and well managed, keeping their manager may be a problem for them.
Everton should be assessed from December rather than from last August.
Taking new manager, new ground, the continuing emergence of young players like DCL, Holgate, Richarlison,Davies and hopefully Kean next season then I think Everton are seen as a club on the up.

Mate they're third and looking very likely to be in the champions league next year with a ten point cushion.

...which they couldn't do, because he wasn't doing anything wrong except maybe upsetting Wenger...who saw everything - except his own teams misdemeanors
Weren't they going to do him for bringing the game into disrepute or some such, never happened though he called their bluff

Players want to play in the CL - look at all the fever of Citeh losing Pep and a few top players if they are banned (heck look at us in the 80's).

We'll no doubt be a bigger pitch with Ancelotti for recruits but with Brands trying to cut the wage bill down the days of offering players £120k+ a week deals look to be gone therefore the only other carrot on the stick is European togger which we dont have.

If us and Leicester both go in for the same player its essentially CL football vs Ancelotti.

I think Leicester are going to get caught.

Do Wenger?
