His CV and everyone else’s is pretty much pointless when it comes to this set of players. Could have Guardiola, Simeone or any great manager of the past and they wouldn’t improve us at all. I‘ve never hated an Everton team as much as I have hated this lot.

Great analogy, sadly every year we keep knocking all the bricks down and start re-laying them all again.

Injured players? Holgate aside, who are these injured players you're expecting to make a real difference?

The three central midfielders we signed last summer, Gbamin, Gomes and Delph, missed huge swathes of this season.

Hopefully they are all available a lot more next season.

If they're all fully fit, we will have a lot more competition in the middle, on top of any further additions we add.

Well let's see how next season goes before sharpening the knives.

He is a three time European Cup Winner and has won the League in England, France, Germany and Italy, with a total of 20 Honours as a club manager.

I've seen us win one solitary cup, and can barely remember it. We are blessed to have a manager of his standing in the game.

If we can't support this manager fully, be patient and understand this will be a long process, then we might as well pack it all in.

We have such a horrible, toxic streak in our fanbase.
