2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

He won’t leave but if he did it might be the catalyst for a real awakening of a sleep walking fan base, who have been brainwashed by our chairman and past managers.

Even some public pressure would cause people to wake up but he’s not that sort of guy.

Can’t see it myself, I could be well off the mark with this but I get the impression they take a glance at fan opinions and try to fuel it further, it’s obvious a good number of blues are not happy. As I said I could be very wrong.

If there are not at least two major additions by the Spurs game then the Star probably won’t be alone in these type of “reports”.
You don't actually have to be Einstein to think along those lines. Even on ten mill a year, there's only so long you'll want to spend your days trying to put lipstick on the EFC pig.
I don't know who Moshiri listens to about football matters, but I think they may have convinced him that the players are good and they only need a decent manager...so he went out and got one.
And we're still rubbish.

Who will leave / walk / get sacked / not renew his contract first?
Brands?
Ancelotti?
Both together?

Its going to be a very interesting 12months / next 2.5 windows

Brands if we are not getting 6th or 7th this season.

If he leaves ,( which I don’t believe for a minute he will) ,then he clearly wasn’t the right manager for Everton Fooball Club, and I would therefore shed no tears.
However are we seriously discussing this situation arising solely based on a report which appeared in a publication which genuinely has less veracity than a copy of the Viz.?

They are probably just using logic , Carlo is used to managing a team with more than a few winners and he is expecting to be backed up with some decent signings of his choosing . So far he has had nil .
However as someone else has said , The Star is a rag and we aren't mind readers . Apart from Carlos and Davek . They are awesome .

What on earth is going on in here

I *think* people are believing an article in the daily star which is based on a quote that is complete conjecture in itself.

‘The Toffees insider warned: “There could be chaos here. Ancelotti would not have taken the job without the promise of new players.”’

that’s the quote.

everything else is made up. At no point does the quote even says he’s frustrated.

it says that it’s unlikely he would have taken the job without the promise of funds and says that it would be chaos if he left.

there is a high probability that those things are true but the ‘frustrated’ bit is complete spin. Likely written by a journalist who looks at what people are saying on forums and then preaches to the choir to get lots of clicks.

‘oh my god our greatest fears are coming true’.

cowards.

Last thing I was reported was that Everton were in negotiations for three or four players. Can't find anything to suggest they have fallen through.
