Do we though we change a lot? It's the players. Also not having out best eleven out there apart from the first four games. We need more tempo and to imprint ourselves on teams at home.
The tempo and the basis for which we approach every game is set but the coach. Tactics might change but if your priority is not to concede as opposed to trying the score then you get the type of performances that we’ve seen all season.

Bad day all round for everyone today, manager included. So many poor players that need moving on asap. Anchelotti needs big time backing in the summer if we ever hope to be more then mid-table mediocrity.

Don’t even no what else he can do in all honesty.

Look at all the variations of teams, formations etc and it’s the same old performance, abject and lack of urgency.

It’s the most baffling thing I’ve ever seen
I look at those players and ask who have the character and desire to force an issue, that desire to win? Allan? Godfrey? Digne? There's no one who can properly dictate a game and push everyone else on.

It's a rare commodity to be honest. But, we ain't really got much of it.

Performances like tonight are on him as manager. That set up was absolutely abysmal

Injuries have forced his hand at the back. Mina is the organiser.

Our problem was a lack of drive from midfield with way too backward passes. He's tried to address that with Doucoure and James. When they aren't there we're crabs. That's down to the DoF who's signed for as long as he's been here poor technicians.

He needs to get us beating the weaker sides, because it's becoming embarrassing not just the results but the performances too

Looks like it will have to be defensive and play on the counter attack from here on in. We don’t have players who are comfortable on the ball in midfield to play on the front foot, they’re easily dispossessed which puts us in the crap.

he’d be better off, sit deep and just look to nick a goal

we’ve played 442/4321/433/343 with a variation of different midfielders and wide players. It all ends the same, the midfield is too slow to react to movement from deep runners and not clever enough to make deep lying runs to break the opposition.

The tempo and the basis for which we approach every game is set but the coach. Tactics might change but if your priority is not to concede as opposed to trying the score then you get the type of performances that we’ve seen all season.
It's true but the reason he went more defensive was injuries to be tight and get more results and seemingly they can't just switch between tactics like that. Agree he needs to work on a plan and tempo at home but you can't say he hasn't tried different things. Also having your best players is key to that also the players, these players have been like this for year's he is the first manager to change their mindset in any respect.

the tactics were to blame for the first goal happening though - they were pinging it at each other up until we went two down, it was daft

So when we play 5 at the back it’s too negative, but when we play 4 at the back and the players don’t do their jobs properly; it’s not the right tactics? What should have been the formation today?
