Such a weird season, this one.

We've been pretty poor throughout - we've not been enjoyable to watch - we've very rarely put in a good performance.

But we're up at the right end of the season, with a pretty threadbare squad.

Performances like tonight are on him as manager. That set up was absolutely abysmal

It shows us that the collective playing staff is just not good enough and the manager is not capable of getting consistent results out of them. For every unexpected defeat (Newcastle, Fulham, Burnley), there is an unexpected win (Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool). The players are the very definition of inconsistent. Now, we can blame the manager who has won everything, or we can quietly suggest that the players who have failed all through their careers are the problem. Right now, they are dragging him down and he's going to need a good transfer window to avoid getting the blame this time next year... I expect a ruthless summer full of horse's heads in beds.

I sure hope our home form picks up when crowds are allowed back in next season as our away form is surely going to nosedive.

We are the worst team in the entire league at passing the ball and creating chances, and I do mean the entire league. We do defend better than the sides down the bottom and are better at set pieces. That really is it.

It's not even up for debate after watching Southampton and WBA play much better Football than us yet couldn't finish their dinner.

So when we play 5 at the back it’s too negative, but when we play 4 at the back and the players don’t do their jobs properly; it’s not the right tactics? What should have been the formation today?

Who said anything about formations? My point was about how they were forever passing it sideways and backwards at speed between the defence, Davies and Allan for most of the first half. We shouldn't have done that, it repeatedly got found out.

Richy, iwobi and King offering no threat cost us.
Allan been done up like a kipper didn't help.

That's the concern. We've not been enjoyable to watch and rarely put in a good performance across 90 mins. How many times has a team come to Goodison and played us off the park? Very concerned. Being outplayed by more or less every team this season.

Carlo has improved us vs last season but he needs to be ruthless come summer and look at every position and bin it off if he can.
