I'd argue it's even worse form from Carlo that we're losing so many without the fans there. We've seen so many times how our players heads just drop when they hear a grumble from the supporters. The players have the freedom of the field to just play their game this season but they're largely embarrassing themselves.

They did but that's another of our issues we can't deal with teams that press us. Against all those teams the emphasis was on us to attack and they picked us off. We lack mobility even with Doucoure without him we are a slow and barron midfield

Based on that rational Our away performances are obviously due to the home side not having fans as opposed to us playing well.

Maybe mate, we did at the start of the season though? The issue for me is unless we have our best team out there Carlo doesn't trust the replacements so plays cautiously.

The truth is in the PL unless you're Man City with 2 top class backups for each world class player, you will be without your best team for atleast 50% of the season. And the approach of winning ugly will catch up with you if you persist with pragmatism.

As soon as teams found out out one dimensional approach of attack through floating James after 4 games, the signs were there.

Absolutely love his as our manager but I won’t give anyone a free pass from losing at home to Leeds, West Ham, Newcastle, Fulham and Burnley in the same season. Plus we haven’t scored in the second half of our last 11 home games, that’s truly unacceptable!

Such a weird season, this one.

We've been pretty poor throughout - we've not been enjoyable to watch - we've very rarely put in a good performance.

But we're up at the right end of the season, with a pretty threadbare squad.

It's only City who have looked any good all season. It's either annoying that we haven't took more advantage, or we're just fortunate to be in the mix at all.

I don’t think the fans would make that great a difference in all honesty. It’s an easy excuse for the same cloggers that have been getting away with these performances for years. Tired of excuses now. Just not good enough performances.
