We’ve just taken 2 points from Burnley, Palace and Brighton and you’re asking why it’s turning?

It's not turning at all. The vast majority of Evertonians do not want Ancelotti out and can see the very valid reasons for why we are struggling for form.

You and a few others choose to be irrational, make a lot of noise and then think you've got an army behind you. You haven't.

We played 4231 for a while and it was miles better than this. That’s when we beat Chelsea Leicester Arsenal Sheffield United in a row over Christmas. We were defensive, but miles better in transition than this team.

We were not miles better in transition. Against Chelsea we got out of our own half about twice and Sheff Utd was one of the worst games of football I’ve ever watched, pretty much a carbon copy of that game tonight except with a late winner.

The home form is bad yes but with fans coming back I expect improvement.

Do any of those teams have a depleted squad like ours or such an injury record. Will any of those teams be ahead of us come the end of the season? Short term versus long.

People moan about Kopites but they lost how many on the bounce at home, yet we have people crying at less. It’s not great at the moment, but it’s not terrible.

We haven’t done any better with more options.

So, if he finishes above Burnley, Palace and Brighton means he’s been a success?

I’m still far from actually calling for his head, but what I will say is, at the back end of last season those people moaning about the style of football were told you stop whingeing and wait until next season when we’d have a true representation of the style of play. A year on, is it safe to assume this is the style of play we should get used to?

We haven't had anything close to a first XI out since the 5th game of the season.

It doesn't matter who is in charge if we're going to have half the first XI out for 3/4 of the season.

No style of play will ever be visible here while we continue to get tens of serious injuries a season. There's no point bothering at the current rate.

He doesn't seem to be 'managing' at all, He's like a cult of personality thing.. Could be why he never lasts at clubs, even a great personality can only cover up a lack of depth for so long.
It's not over for him yet though, gotta give him next season and a couple of great transfer windows.

He started the season with Doucoure Allan and Gomes in midfield. Siggurdson and Davies were subs. Holgate plus one was his preferred partnership last season until he was injured in pre season. I’m not sure Keane would have even started had Holgate not done his ankle.

When he’s had midfield options available he hadn’t started Davies and Siggurdson. We just can’t keep any fit though.

Keane has made more appearances than any Everton player this season.

Well that’s the tricky bit as it generally changes week to week depending on who had the best result last week.

Maybe we need to implement ‘guest managers’ to whom ever is flavour of the month.
