Check chelsea forums from years ago. They love Carlo obviously but they always said he's too negative and he never makes changes quick enough

Anyone thinking that he's some attacking coach dont watch enough football. The football will always be pragmatic and defensive minded.

I hate it. I would have Roberto back right now to be honest, at least we would have drawn 3-3 tonight under him and had some fun.

Carlo ball = ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz
I’ll poo in your face

Hallo! Where have you been?

You saw his Milan side then? The Madrid team? Or how about Bayern. All of which played brilliant togger under him.

That Milan side is one of the best footballing sides ever.
I said this before and I will say it again:- he isn't going to have world class players in nearly every position at Everton. never happening. He's the wrong fit for our club. You can't turn Siggy into Kaka. How did Carlo's Napoli fare? And they had much better players than we do.

very negative but we wasted our chances to win the match. Not sure what else Carlo could have done, id have left Gomes and Iwobi on the bench and ditched Siggy tho.

I just don't understand the 5 at the back for this game. Davies played very well against West Ham alongside Allan and should have stayed in. That midfield unit would have only got stronger with the return of Doucoure. Why did he feel the need to put Holgate of all people back in, who gifted the exact same opposition the win just two weeks ago?

To not even change the system when it was clear we had absolutely no attacking impetus in game we absolutely had to win was so frustrating to watch. What good does changing Coleman for Iwobi seriously achieve?

We have no cutting edge we have 1 way of attacking, getting it out left and crossing it in. That's all we have, I would spend every penny we have on attacking and creative players in the summer.
The limitations are obvious but the squad build was never going to see quick progress. Next season is about using the positives and then buying really smartly to push on several steps.
