Some of these comments.
Two away games in 4 days against two sides who are no mugs.
4 points. Two clean sheets.
Some of you go on like we have this great side packed with class players and should be cruising victories.
A point at villa in isolation is a decent result. Obviously when your home form is as wretched as ours it means you’re under pressure to get results in games you might ordinarily not expect to. There is some overreaction, sure, but in the main I can fully understand the frustration.

So how are we going to improve? Because Carlo needs 14 very good to world class type players. Look at all of his teams in the past. Everton just won't buy that many players. We need an actual project, a blueprint.

Right now it's just: lets hire Carlo he's world class, buy anyone, point to Carlo's previous triumphs, try to win. That is our strategy. We need an actual philosophy from top to bottom. A manager who wants his players to play and actually use the ball in positive positions. We need a director of football who will bring in players in the style of the manager - not donkeys who want to sit behind the ball and spring one counter attack per match.

Sick of it all really depressing following Everton even when we've got wealthy owner
How we inprove by getting more options in the squad when you have bench of iwobi bernard delph do you expect goals hopefully 5 players in this summer would make massive difference

Some of you support Carlo more than Everton.

He's done nothing of note since being here apart from winning at Anfield. But even then, Fulham won there too this season.

I dont want to hear about Carlo's history anymore. Nottigham Forest won back to back European Cups. Where are they now?

Carlo is an old skool manager with old fashioned tactics.

This is scarily true.

We need to go out and buy 4-5 really quality players this summer. I don't care how we fund it, to me no player in the squad is irreplaceable. The quality of football has to improve next season.

We’ll improve when we have better players.

We don’t need world class players to drastically improve this team. Just players who show fight and determination to want to win games. A bit of pace and trickery on the wings, especially on the right where we have had absolutely nothing all season. We are literally a few points off 5th place. The way some cry on here you’d think we were sitting 18th having our worse season ever. Villa don’t particularly have word class players but they have a midfield with a variety of technically gifted players and ball runners who work hard, we have zero. Get a few more players like that in this team and it will transform us.

A few signings in the summer on top of the signings he’s already made which have improved us this season and we’ll look a lot better.

How are we going to play when we have all these better players in the team? Does anyone have an idea? Could someone tell me what our style might be?

Similar style but with a lot more pace and quality when we get space in the final third. Teams with quality dont need to be overly aggressive. Clean sheets win prizes.

A good team beats Villa comfortably 2 nil tonight. We are an average team and made repeated poor decisions around their box. Gomes one sticks in my head. He has an easy pass for a clear shot on goal but makes completely the wrong choice.

We’ll improve when we have better players.
On what evidence? What exactly is our playstyle?

Look at Brighton. I can tell you their style of play. Its very easy on the eye. They dont have particulary talented players. But they have a style. What exactly is Carlo's style here?
