I can’t stand Siggurdson however I think people just have an unrealistic expectation of a manager in this situation
he has limited options to work with, so are you saying Carlo Ancelotti proven winner would get your support if he stripped Siggurdson of the vice captaincy and leave him to train with the kids?

Disappointing results in recent weeks. And we have had players out. I take your point. Let's see how we do against I think it's Fulham next.
But I of course realise that we have had our better players out. But does that mean that we give up. Does that mean that for those matches that we now inevitably lose. Awful statistic that when Rixharlson is out, we get beat. Anchelotti needs to find a way around that.

We have 100% got a better squad and played better since he came, however there have been too many of these non performances where we haven't just been beat we have been awful.

@Lanolin actually in fairness I am probably rolling your posts in with others and responding to something you aren’t exactly saying . Soz
But only in response to you saying he doesn’t want to pick him! I’m saying of course he wouldn’t be his number 1 choice in world football but if he keeps picking him ahead of other options then I have no choice But to believe that he rates him reasonably highly. All managers have to work with players of lower quality than they’d like to, there’s absolutely nothing unique about our situation in that regard so I just don’t see how it’s relevant.

We had fantastic momentum which we threw away through ill discipline as well as some untimely injuries. It has become very clear how important Richarlison is for us. With him we had a lovely balance to our attack and we could put teams under pressure with the athleticism he offered alongside a DCL. Without him we are blunt.
In relation to Carlo I don’t understand why Pickford is playing as the new lad came in and was assured. My other complaint relates to the treatment of Gordon. Granted we can’t see what is going on day to day but on paper he is the best like for like replacement we have for Richarlison.
