I think most Evertonians are disappointed that we should have already made it in to Europe but we have lost stupid games, leaving it to the last game away to City gives us all but no chance. Even if we win we could miss out, the poor results have cost us big time. This season has to go down as a failure with a finishing position 8th-10.

CA has presided over our lowest position in the last 18 seasons, albeit he only had the second half of the season BUT he got us in to a really good position then we just crashed at the end of the season (Sound familiar) AND our worst home record in a season in our PL history this season. Big big summer for CA, I`m not saying sack him but he needs an improvement and the chance to take us forward. However if it doesnt happen (Improvement) next season it probably never will do for him.

I think a dream team strike force of Ings and Chris Woods of Burnley are what's needed.

We’ve discussed this mate, it’s the triple Danger Danny strike force or bust but we’ll save that kind of chat for the “crap strikers @ForeverBlue92 loves that we’re never going sign” thread.

Back on topic tho, Carlo magnifico etc, etc

I didn’t watch the game last night, I couldn’t put myself through another Sheffield United debacle. However I don’t blame Carlo AncelottI for or current woes, our issues pre-date him and indeed Fat Sam. We have been a basket case for years, we have brought in players who were never going to improve us and we pay them extortionate wages.
Carlo, or indeed any other manager, was never going to sort us out over the course of one or two transfer windows. He has tried to get a style of football that our current squad can play given their attitude problem and inability to retain the ball. I can’t see us getting European football but with one game to go we find it mathematically possible, looking at our inept squad I think he has worked wonders.
I am happy to hear him now saying we need more quality, that unhappy players can go and that the players he has cannot play his style of football, hopefully that means we will see the back of a lot of our current crop or ner-do-wells.
I won’t watch the City game but I have hope that we go into the transfer market with a clear idea of what we need and we don’t mess about and get what we need in.
I see this season as a proven winner up against a proven loser, Carlo being the proven winner and us being the proven loser, I don’t know who will prevail but I do hope it is Carlo.

I'm convinced they actually will us to lose so they can come on here and crow the same old tripe.

"GET GRAHAM IDENTITY POTTER IN FROM HOVE... YOU KNOW THAT FELLA WHO LOOKS LIKE HE WORKS IN MORRISONS AND NEARLY GOT BRIGHTON RELEGATED?... HE'S GOT IDENTITY MATE"
It’s madness from some isn’t it?
