There would’ve been people making the same arguments for Koeman to stay when it all hit the fan with him.

The button was pushed on Koeman out of fear we'd go down. That's how we ended up with Allardyce to make sure 40 points were reached. Although as it turned out we climbed up the league by the time he took charge.

Same with Silva as well last season.

There's no danger of that this year. The danger is mid table mediocrity.

We ain't getting no better than him so jib the sack shouts, but he needs to cut his losses on the overpaid dossers in the squad asap.

The fella knows how to manage a football team, but he's not gettin the calls right at the moment, and the unwillingness to pick the young lads is baffling.

Also, the training cannot be right or Delph doesn't break down after one sprint in the match.

The training should be that intense that he (and any other grocks littered throughout the squad) break down in training just bloody running/sprinting about - not 20 mins into a premier League game, where we don't have a proper back up option on the bench!

Well played Ben Godfrey - kids been hung out to dry by Carlo the last few games.

So we buy a backup LB, and when Digne gets injured we don’t play the backup. We hold onto JJK rather than sell him for a nice transfer fee because we need him as backup for Coleman, then when Coleman gets injured we don’t play him. But then we buy a young CB for the future and immediately throw him into every lineup we try.

Can anyone explain any of this?

They aren’t when your biggest rival can put out a reserve team and still knock you out on national television in front of 8,000 Evertonians.
They are when a John Aldridge managed team (that ended up fighting relegation to whats now League One) walks over your team with ease to the point that you walk out of Goodison after an hour for the first and only time in 25 years of support because you can't take anymore

Branthwaite hasn't had a look in since he got injured against Salford

Exactly, as long as there’s no danger of relegation we have to break the pattern of firing managers. We need an Everton squad that doesn’t contain the train wrecks that were brought in by Koeman in the 17/18 season. They are a millstone on the club that has set us back 5 years. Until they’re cleared out even good players won’t make a difference to the team when Pickford could drop it in the ent at any moment Keane turns slower than the QE2 and Sigurdsson is the invisible man who can’t run.

Another season wrote off before Christmas and Richarlison gone in the summer because of the double act of Carlo & Brands.

Oh well there's always next year oh wait we dont win without Richarlison erm maybe we'll do something once we finally go down and press the reset button.

Not calling for his head myself. But he simply must do better. He is making poor decisions week in week out at the minute.

of course he does, the same with every other manager. Even Pep and his billion pound team have struggled. But as stated many a time I’d have his experience over anyones

Plus, I’d like to see an Everton team under him when he has the players he wants. Then, one of the most successful managers of all time can be truly judged as either a failure or a success
