We have gone from bemoaning our midfield options to seeing vast improvements from Davies, Siggy and Gomes.

The Carlo Affect.

What a manager.

I daren't believe too much, but I would be surprised if he did not win at least one trophy with us provided injuries stay in our favour. The mentality is changing, the effort has changed and players clearly know they have a world class manager to make them better.

What a time to be an Evertonian.

Considering 7 of those games included post lockdown when we clearly where on holiday that’s all the more impressive.

I know we've signed some boss players this season but how he's even got us on the race for the champions League mid way through the season, into the quarters of the fa cup with the squad we have baring in mind the injuries we have had all season.

When was the last time ( genuine question ) we had a fully fit 11?

Need to show consistency, Davies has had 2 games playing well, need to keep that up, manse with others, im not convinced yet, but give me 5 games to make my mind up! lol

We can’t compare the side Carlo took over to the one Martinez inherited, which had just finished 6th in Moyes last season. That was an already good side which just needed some tweaks to push on, which it got through Lukaku, Barry and McCarthy.

If Ancelotti took over that Moyes side we would be in the running for the title. That was one solid team that needed a goal scorer and a bit of creativity

I think there are still going to be a lot of games where our midfield (without Allan) are going to have rings run round them. I think the positive is that we know this team, at full strength, can compete with anyone. With a couple of additions in the summer, hopefully we can add the depth to mitigate injuries to key players.
