Are you seriously telling me alarm bells didn’t ring when you saw 5 slow central midfielders in the line up when the team was announced?
He said before the game we had to control the midfield, that never happens with the team he sent out and sitting on your own 18 yard box.Getting it wrong, is NOT a fact. Its people's opinions.
The players as a group, did not perform well....and Fulham did.
Not sure what Carlo could have done to change that, its not like he asked them all to play poor....look tired, and "make mistakes please lads".
Oh I know mate, we should have picked all those really fast and powerfull midfielders we have.....Carlo OUT, angry fans on the internet IN.
I can see youre feeling personally attacked. Didnt have you in mind, but based on your response im guessing youre in the whine category.I personally comment on games as I see them, as they are happening.
If a player is underperforming or having a shocker, I call him out. If he’s having a corker, I praise him.
This is football, always has been, always will be the same.
Same with managers. When you see something so obvious, you comment on it.
None of us are experts, it’s all just views and opinions.
Carlo has forgotten more than all of us will ever know. But we are fans of Everton, so we comment. Some people’s comments are more balanced than others.
Once you have got your head around that basic concept it shouldn’t upset you so much.
Again, who’s said this? Stop being a tit mate.
He could’ve played a winger or a striker. He certainly should’ve changed it at half time when it was clear we were getting bummed, whether you disagree with the starting line up or not.

Never really understood this argument. If the manager can't do anything to affect performance, what exactly are we employing him for. For me, if the manager gets it right I will praise him, if he gets it wrong i'll question him. There is ample evidence of me taking this approach with all managers and players in my posting history. It seems totally bizarre to me that anyone would do anything other than that, but there are definitely some bizarre people on here so maybe it's not that surprising.Getting it wrong, is NOT a fact. Its people's opinions.

No it wasn't fair at all.
After that 1 game, James is now a weak little child, and Holgate is a cocky championship player, with Carlo clueless.
Its not THAT bad ffs.
There will always be different opinions on a football forum. That's the whole point of a forum. A forum becomes exciting when forum participants discuss with good arguments, and substantiate their claims.
Personally, I have never been a fan of Ancelotti's football philosophy, nor have I hidden it. But that does not mean I want him fired. I want him to succeed, and so far we have done well. But as far as I know, we are not in a sect where Ancelotti is our leader, and I reserve the right to criticize him.
What many point to, and it's not just about the match against Fulham, but a fairly large sample size, is that we create relatively few goal chances and have performed far better than expected. All in all, we often have an ultra-defensive approach, and it is difficult to see any sustainable development.
When teams do poorly, the manager and owners are often not worried as long as the team produces goal chances and usually has control of the matches. Most often it is just a matter of how long it takes before it turns. As Guerdiola said: "A coach's job is to get the team to the last third, and then it's up to the players." The same logic is often used in the opposite case. When teams produce more goals and points than what the various parameters say. Then it is a matter of time before you find your natural level.
That is the concern, and I think it is a rational concern.
