Chelsea away. I have zero nerves about the game. We could very well get an away result at Chelsea and It just feels normal. He hasn't had a full season yet.

He was one of the best managers in world football before he came.

Bit like, he's definitely one of the best managers in world football giving my first hand account of him as an Evertonian.

Twated the RS at Anfield without it been a nail biter.

How can you consistently post you're unhappy with that as an Evertonian unless you have other issues going on. And if that's the case then I apologise.
Mods got a bad language strike there still trying to work it out. At a stretch I am thinking saying people have issues is offensive? As in they are relating it to like a mental illness. Cause i ment life issues and taking it out on Everton. Surely that's not it and its a mistake. That's some serious stretch of interpretation.

My guess is on twated flagging it up, not sure why though.

My God, just listened to his interview on the OS - was asked about introducing Allan and unprompted answered “I have to be honest that I thought Iwobi did a good game....” Lost all respect for him right there. I assume he is trying to spare the players feelings, if he genuinely thinks that then I have no words.
TBH I'd have lost a bit of respect for him if he'd slagged off one of our players publically on live TV.

Publically backing our players is one of the things that make him such a great manager and one of the reasons I love him

I would love to see the stats of our work rate off the ball. Maybe we just don't have the right players for a full press and smother teams. City might have the best squad in Europe talent wise but there ability to smother teams high up the pitch and get the ball back is excellent- no talent is required to do that except working hard.

Inappropriate Language

I think it was for a**ield. Would of been less offensive to just say shithole.

At least, for me, my issue for how we play is that it's down to luck. Yes, we have been far better defensively as a unit but we are riding our results down to luck. Our passing is really poor lately, we can't seem to handle any pressing very much (credit to Allan for coming in and it changed immediately) and we're still not creating all that much. We easily could have lost last night with goals in the first minute and last minute. Pickford misjudged the header from Diagne and just got his wrong hand on it at the very last second and I still can't believe that was given for offside at the death. We need some semblance of decent playing if we are going to do anything of note because I just can't see it lasting another, what, 12 matches?

Do posters watch any other football?
We may not be setting the world alight with our football but we are getting results to put us in the mix.
Of the teams we are fighting with Chelsea are on a good run. They rest are dropping points as well and playing poorly on occasion.
United have drawn with west brom and Palace,
Leicester lost to arsenal drew with Burnley,
Spurs until the last 2 were on an awful run and just about beat Fulham,
West ham have been doing well but when they play a big team usually lose ,
The Rs are currently a laughing stock and are struggling to get a shot on target.
We won't win every game until the end of the season. But either will the 6 or 7 teams we are fighting with .
We have probably the best manager of them all though. Let's enjoy the ride.
3 away wins last night
ALL by 0-1
Leaving city's game out for this week so far
7 games
7 goals
2 home wins
3 away wins
2 Draws
1 game with 2 goals 1-1
Not exactly exciting stuff considering United .Spurs ,Chelsea ,Scum (4 of the Sky 6 ) were playing in those games

Not just energy its pace as well - cant press effectively with slow players.

Siggurdsson, Gomes, Davies none are particularly quick.

Allan isnt either although he makes up for it with fantastic positioning.

Personally I find it very encouraging that we are getting results in the main whilst not playing well.

With more time, and more of his own signings, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how we can develop under Carlo.

Love to see what results are possible when we are playing well, and doing so consistently..
