To become a big club you need to associate with big brands. Smaller clubs than us are gaining more exposure by having Nike kits, for example, than we are with some jarg make no one in Liverpool would be caught dead wearing.

Our main kit sponsor had 600 Twitter followers today which sums up what a shabby brand we have just attached ourselves to and before you claim followers on social media isn’t important, it is.

This is daft.

You don't win trophies and become a big club by signing up to a company with loads of twitter followers. You become big by winning things.

Followers on social media for the CLUB is important (ish). How many followers the sponsor has got makes zero difference whatsoever. Nobody buys Yokohama tyres and decides to support Chelsea because of it.

The kit thing is miles off too. Have explained that loads already though.

Yeh, Liverpool's deals with Warrior (who?) and Cricket wear and crap running shoe manufacturer, New Balance, really set the fashion amongst the Yoof of the city didn't it...

I've just had a look on their website....to be fair, it seems decent.

It does look rather PCP heavy though. Always renting a car, but never owning it. Personally, I've never seen the attraction in that. It's more for the 'keeping up with the Joneses' style market. Each to their own...

I once bought a car for £900 and it lasted me for around ten years. Towards the end, it was a bit tax and fuel heavy, but quite reliable. Preferable to a new or nearly new car, for me anyway. Sadly, I lost her to rust a few years ago.

Anyway, I'm sure this sponsorship will be great for raising their profile. Good luck to them.

A kazoo looks just like a hash pipe so the chaps in the Gwladys (you know the ones) are going to be loving this

It's not though is it? A few years ago we started the deal with Sportpesa, which was for more than this.

SportPesa was for 9.6mil a year and looks as though it will be pulled under by COVID, according to reports. They were also awful in how they constantly tried “ripping” the club via their poorly run Social Media. Not dismissing the fact they’re a betting company.

Cazoo is 10mil a year and we’re founded by the same fella who founded and sold Zoopla, for 2.2bil. It’s definitely progress.

My current most hated, moronic advertising campagn...
