Always the same, innit.

From the very first day, when Hafnia was ”unveiled” as our shirt sponsor, I have heard of hardly any of them beforehand.

I think One-2-One was the only one I had ever heard off.

From a bookie to a second hand car dealer.

Arfur Daley eat yer heart out...

NEC are the biggest company to have sponsored us. It was during our darkest days as a club, showing that there is no correlation between the reputation of the company and how the team performs.

Stop listening to the voices in your head, mate.

I only wrote one sentence, pretty difficult to misinterpret yet you have apparently succeeded in doing so

lets try again and see if you can spot it the second time

“This is SUPPOSEDLY a leak of the away kit”

The whole idea of sponsorship is to get people talking about the company.

How many clubs do the huge worldwide brands sponsor?

I think I've seen Coca Cola on one shirt once. McDonalds aren't scrambling to sign up.

In an ideal world, shirts wouldn't have a sponsor on them, but it's a revenue stream no club can simply discard.

Cazoo have undoubtedly seen a massive spike in site visits and social media presence. That's why they are paying the money.

If we accept having a sponsor is a necessity what would people have preferred?

Well we can’t get success because FFP limits our spending due to the fact we can’t get the revenues the horrible big 6 have already got.

It’s racketeering in some sense.

The Big 5.
Spurs are only now considered as a top club because they bought well and slowly progressed.
Spurs are well behind most of the top 5 and now the horrible virus have hit, because of the new stadium debt, will probably have a very hard time of staying up there and around 6th place is the probable place for the near future?

I have never heard of Alex Chesterman but he does appear to be a very successful and clever man.

It is interesting that he see Everton as a worthwhile partner to advertise the Cazoo brand. It is possible that he sees his company getting involved at the start of something big for both brands.

I would expect that any deal signed will have clauses where payments will be contingent on the success of both brands.
