6 years ago they weren’t.....
Since 09/10 Spurs have finished 4th, 5th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. That's why they make so much more than us on sponsorship and shirt deals

Exactly. It’s not that hard to figure out. If we’d produced what they have we’d have a mega deal as well.

Hummel and Cazoo. They’re the type of sponsors you’d expect Championship clubs to have.
They both put up the money though
Seems like we're trying to get in early with cazoo. A lot of money to be made in 3 years and if we have an upward trajectory in the league as well i wouldn't be surprised to see them extend the sponsorship at a higher rate

Not sure I am happy about us being sponsored by a company that has the Daily Mail as one of it's major shareholders.

The owner of the Daily Mail Jonathon Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothmere is on the board of Cazoo.

It would be interesting to see the difference in sponsorship money when we finished 4th, 11th, 6th, 5th, 5th in comparison to Spurs. I’d still bet their superior board of directors would be getting them more money.

choose your poison. There’ll be a disagreeable right person with ownership in almost every major company if you look hard enough. Sadly unavoidable.

One would assume a clause is written in for increased sponsorship dependent on league placings, European qualification etc, or perhaps an option to extend at a higher payment rate?

The Cazoo deal is what it is - sooner or later that actual core task of the club - and surely that is to have a successful team - has to come to fruition at some mythical future point.

How under the radar we are as a club is under-estimated by many at times, including me. I was talking to a French colleague a while back, he supports his own local Ligue 1 team and just keeps a broad eye on other football stuff like most others. He knew of Everton of course, but he wasn't exactly sure we were even a Premier League Club at that given time, he was sure we were relegated at least once in recent years.
