Not the best looking sponsor I have ever seen and definitely more oven chip than blue chip. Better than SportPesa though and that is all that matters.
If we had spurs results over the last 6 years we’d have a better deal. Not that shocking really. We’ve been mid table the entire time whereas they’ve been top 4 regulars and champions league finalists. This deal is more shocking the more I think about it.
Spurs deal with AIA was £13 Million 6 years ago they now get £40 Million.
We will have had £9/10 Million a season for what will be 6 seasons by the time this deal finishes.
Farcical.

out of interest, what’s a “good” looking sponsor in your opinion?
Think FFP is going to be changed radically in the next few months, the game needs as much investment as it can get across Europe and another City or PSG that could add loads of capital into football would help a lot. Spurs are going to register a 200M loss next year... Just all goes out the window.

So we basically went from a 10.6 million per year combined shirt and sleeve sponsorship, to 10 million for the mens/u23 shirts. If we can then get a nice sponsorship from Uncle Uzzi for either the sleeves or the other teams, and a decent sponsorship for whats left, could at least grab an extra 3-5 million. Its not world beating, but its a start.
