When 18 yo are starting to cost over £100m, I think the days of unearthing gems are getting harder and harder Eggs. There'll be a lot of punt taking (like we did with Sandro) and a tremendous amount of luck involved.

And I don't understand why we necessarily think foreign kids are any better than our own when you look at the success of our English youth teams over the last 12 months. And English club teams have also fared very well in the Uefa youth cup since it was introduced 4 years ago.

As opposed to players who can't play any way at all, which is what we have now???

Moyes built a squad that primarily went long. Martinez changed it that first season, but then went too far the other way.

Doesn't make sense that mate. How can you regularly dispossess somebody who only attempts dribbles infrequently?. Unless you mean his control or passing is poor and he loses possession that way. In which case, why are we buying him?
