It’s ‘Jenk Tu-soon’ - however in scouse he’s become ‘Senk toe-sun’Last weeks news that mate. We're currently learning 'booooooo' in Turklandish.
He only needs to be able to hold the ball up for a couple of minutes and he will have 3 or 4 players in support. This guy is strikingly similar statistically to strikers like Kevin Davies. He holds it up, he lays it off, he tries to occupy defenders in the middle. But he never dribbles and is extremely slow for a centre forward.
He has his pros and cons but in a team already utterly devoid of pace, especially in full back areas, I don't think this guy is the ideal choice. I'm only basing this on the numbers and he has a number of strengths, but I'm not convinced.
An improvement on the last two managers who had no plan at all tbf
That's an expensive ticket to watch anyoneImagine spending £200m to watch Bolton
Maybe Sam's his nickname. I do hope he's not fat too. That would really confuse things. Why would he ask Sam if he can chase long balls?
I always remember that goal he scored against us for Southampton when he beat half the team. Never did it again like.Genuine question. How often have you seen him play in full games and not clips from youtube.
What are you basing your assessment of him being slow on as different reports that I have seen alternate between him being fast and slow.
Based on his physique alone I would expect him to have some pace as he seems to have a light build rather than the battering ram that was Kevin Davies.... a player that I thought was a decent player always.
But he has to mate. Because Martina is awful.
You're also not taking rotation into account mate. End of the day Sam knows these players and knows if they need a rest. Holgate played at RB because Kenny, clearly, has run himself out. Same with Gylfi.
We've had to rotate the last few games and too much rotation has seen us lose that solidity we had in the first few weeks of his tenure. Get back to a settled team with one or two changes max per-game and we'll be fine. At the moment it's been six or seven, due to necessity.
Sam being here for a big transition means that we should get the basics right during it - which means we don't risk going down and can hopefully have a solid top 8 finish. It's not where we wanted to be but it's where we're at at the moment.
If they’re messing us around with the price and we pull out that’s fair enough, can’t be helped. However we have to have someone else lined up, which considering recent events, seems a big ask.
Benteke on deadline day for £50m and £160k a week it is then.
because under Koeman we were playing like Barca? We were playing the Big Sam way this time last year it was just easier to accept as we were doing ok.No , just no.
BS overseeing the overhaul of playing staff will mean that we end up with defenders who just hoof , midfielders that can't pass and big centre forwards with no skill , in other words players that can only play the BS way.
