£145k a week is a joke!!! We call ourselves the people’s club so why not spend that on the community instead? It’s all just a face and we don’t really care about the less privileged. I am done with this club.

Oh I thought Wigan. Either way some sort of gentleman's agreement if it is only down to us and West Ham. Probably not as easy as that.
 
Barkley has been offered at least £120k, I suspect more

Sandro is supposedly on around £90-100k.

Lukaku was offered something in the region of £170k p/wk.
 

This guy is strikingly similar statistically to strikers like Kevin Davies. He holds it up, he lays it off, he tries to occupy defenders in the middle. But he never dribbles and is extremely slow for a centre forward.

He has his pros and cons but in a team already utterly devoid of pace, especially in full back areas, I don't think this guy is the ideal choice. I'm only basing this on the numbers and he has a number of strengths, but I'm not convinced.
 
A few corrections depending on the most trusted sources in Turkey
- Besiktas never shook hands with everton, there was no real agreement despite reports in UK,
- Since there was no agreement there is no such thing like “asking for more than agreed”
- There was never a 25 m £ offer, the final offer stands at 22 m $

Paying (albeit inflated) market rates = win more matches = make more profit = ability to give back more to the community

Forgoing top players to make charitable donations = win less matches = make less profit = ultimately give less back to the community
