Was tough for him against Hegazi who is absolutely huge and Evans, who's good in the air. I defo think he'll have better games where he can knock it on for Walcott or Lookman if they make the right run.

The booing was surely for the sub itself and not the player, our fans in the ground can't be that silly..

Yeah mate the crowd were not booing him.. at least I wasn't!

He did get a few knock downs today but there was no one running past him.. think i remember one particular knock down going out to Walcott.

He will get better as time goes on and the players learn they can run on to his knock downs.

I actually think he is better than I thought he would be. He's got a bit more pace. He's a bit lost movement wise, which will get better over time. But you play Morgan and McCarthy together, with Williams, Martina, and Vlasic...OF COURSE he'd be isolated. OF COURSE we couldn't win the ball back.

It was the fact we subbed a striker for a striker mate, most people wanted two up top, however I think this is written into the constitution of our club that this should never happenlol

I've no idea if he is good or not. I suspect given the league he has played in, the style of football he thrived in and his age that he will struggle to adapt to this Everton side.

Then again I think prime Batistuta would struggle in this side.

Hence why I would have signed a left back and at least 1 passing midfielder rather than a striker and a winger. Then again there must be a reason Sam/Walsh rake in a combined £7m....mustn't there be?

Fully agree. I’ll be honest when I seen Jags and Keane warming up half way through the first I was expecting another defender on.
