I didn't realise Tosun has a track record in scoring premiership goals. Please tell me more.

Sorry to say, the game has evolved and strikers are expected to close down defenders and make opportunities from their mistakes. In any case, it's not often Niasse misses chances. Niasse has a track record of scoring when it really matters.
 
I got told today that the coaching staff feel he has been lazy in training hence why he was dropped last night. I’m not sure how true this is but apparently ‘it came via someone at finch farm’.

3rd post mentioning this in various threads. Have to say, in the 2 games he has played, didnt strike me as lazy.

Time will tell, but the drums said Sam had wanted him at Palace, or somewhere anyrate, ergo, not a Walsh "diamond" (sic)

Thing is even if he is a Walsh diamond. The refusal to play him should eventually lead to the sacking of big Sam. Otherwise why would the board let Walsh identify and spend the money if they don't trust him or if they think the manager won't play him.

It would mean the manager is disrespecting the DOF and the board.

Niasse's general contribution to the game yesterday was very, very poor I thought.

One thing which came out of the AGM (and it may be bluster, who knows, but I doubt it) is that both manager & Walsh have to sign off on a player. Both will obviously have targets, but theres needs to be unanimity there.

I doubt there is a rift going on re Sam not playing Walsh's players. Also, I think Sam was very keen to get Tosun in himself.
