Give him time and he will be good for us. Scored some good goals in CL and the Turkish prior coming to us. He is absolute beast for me on FIFA haha. So there’s hope.

He missed a few sitters. He was through on goal at one point and his touch was horrendous and he knocked about 10 yards too far straight into Schmeichel's hands. His passing and hold-up player was absolutely woeful, very clumsy and lost the ball a lot.

Unless your metric is "underdog value", I'm struggling to think what you rated his performance based on.

He has the best smiles per minute ratio in the league.

Thought as much - different metrics.

Closing down defenders. Dragging defenders from their position and allowing space for others to attack. Allowing Everton to play a higher line. No one ever questions Niasse's work ethics. On another day Niasse would've bagged an hattrick.
 

If he is fit but doesn't start this weekend then either walsh should be fired for hiring yet another dud or big sam should be fired for shattering a players confidence within a month of buying him. Simple.

He actually misses the first one because he was trying to put it in the corner rather than just hit it wildly. After Walcott and Rooney he’s probably the best finisher at the club.
 
I think Cenk's confidence won't take damage with sitting on bench few games. It will fire him up more.
The football everton played in first 60 minutes of the last game is so suitable for the abilities of cenk.

And also do u really think that the good football and positions of last game is hugely about niasse's off-ball abilities?

He has in the champions league against a lot better competition than that LCFC team last night. Although, I know many on this board think Harry McGuire is all world and all.

Tosun also will work his tail off every bit as much as Niasse does. Oumar does normally harass the back line, but actually don't think he did a consistent job of it and he was still gassed by the 60th and should have been subbed for at a minimum.
