People keep making up stories about Cenk, all starting from one poster on one message board who may or may not have known a thing. But then it just gets repeated, and repeated, and soon people start to both believe it and believe its coming from multiple sources.

If there were that many people saying that, a little common sense would say one of the papers would have picked it up and run with it.

He kept working when he was behind Mario Gomez, Demba Ba and Vincent Aboubakar. I doubt he would just give up like that when confronted with Niasse and DCL.

Plus he's only been here a few weeks, he can't possibly have downed tools already. I don't buy it. I don't think there is anything more sinister than Niasse got the equaliser against WBA and was rewarded with a start, or is that too logical.

Me neither, and I would do the same as Sam did. Binning Niasse this early would demoralize him too and if Cenk failed to deliver, you would be on a position to lose all the strikers you have. Keep Niasse playing, sub with Cenk and if Cenk delivers, make a smooth change between him and Niasse, thus minimizing the pressure on both strikers.
