Mate that is literally our only tactic, cross the ball to...nobody, they're all in the channels
We cross way too much whenever Richarlison is upfront, but not nearly enough whenever Tosun is upfront. (or DCL for that matter)
Our passing is much better whenever Tosun starts upfront, which gets Sigurdsson more into the game which discourages crosses to Tosun.
Even if we were to cross the ball as frequently as those sides do, we still don't really have good enough wingers to service him.
Left flank:
Lookman doesn't cross when he plays on the left.
Richarlison is terrible at crossing so he never does it.
Bernard almost never crosses even though he is good at it, always prefers cutting inside.
Calvert-Lewin is terrible at crossing, and has started a couple games this season at LW with Tosun upfront.
Digne is great at crossing.
Baines is great at crossing.
Right flank:
Lookman sometimes crosses but generally prefers cutting inside or occupying space centrally.
Walcott is terrible at crossing and prefers cutting inside shooting at goal.
Kenny is great at crossing.
Coleman is terrible at crossing, exactly like Walcott & also prefers cutting inside shooting at goal.
