he's another one who seems to be improving year on year in his young age, who'd have thought it eh. You think he's a yard dog because at 19 when at Toon he didn't turn up trees and looked a bit lost. He looks a completely different player a few seasons on. Young players will be inconsistent and sometimes you have to be patient. Toon would love him back up front now, I'd wager.

Mitrovic is aggressive and has decent movement. He was and is head and shoulders above any of our strikers.

Think Mitrovic would be quite a good fit if I'm honest. Good touch and an absolute pain for centre backs to play against. Tosun is too passive for our number 9 I think.

I think that sells him short, tbh. He's a lot more mobile than that; maybe not the lateral runs across defences, but he can get involved early on in attacks from deep and be there in the box when a dangerous ball is played in. Ferguson was a bit like that for us years ago. Decent player but more renowned for his aerial prowess.

...we need a few strikers and he’d be a decent option, but I hope Brands can unearth the real deal.

Mitrovic is old 442 striker like viduka for poor with one quicker striker and plenty of crosses.. Inside foot wingers he is in the way and slow, works solid in fulham because sessegnon and kamara are outside foot wingers.

I just don't buy he doesn't suit our style. He'd do no differently at any other club in the league. Play him every game and he'd probably get you 10/15 goals for a season, which isn't good enough considering his all round game is poor.

If you think Tosun is slow then Mitrovic takes it to a new level. He's a big lump that puts it about with a good touch and a good finisher but his lack of pace makes him an absolute non starter for the way Silva sets up his teams. Decent player but not suited at all to Everton at this current time.

Here's a straight, dumb opinion: I think Tosun and Richarlison up top together could be fun to watch.
