He did fine the other day. Could have done with getting into better scoring positions.

Only thing he did wrong was not play in Waclott. Other than that it was an effective as a display that we could have hoped for from the 40th minute on. Sloppy at times during the first half but his hold up play was decent after that.

I did say just before they scored that I thought it was time to bring DCL on to stretch them, but when it went 2-2 Niasse was the reasonable change.
 
Should of got batsuayi on loan, pace through the middle would make so much difference upfront. Someone like batsuayi can run through the middle taking on a defender and running between the two cb's allowing space for richarlison and walcott to run into. We've seen how much of a factor pace can be through richarlison. Imagine richarlison batsuayi walcott up front.

No idea why youre;

1-- Wanting a failed footballer upfront

2-- Not grasping that we can only 1 player per club
 
I’d have liked a backup striker in but we had other areas we had to prioritise. Cenk is a great finisher and, I think, good for 15 goals this year. Richie and Walcott should be looking at 10+ each and hopefully Bernie, Siggy and a few others weigh in with a handful apiece and we won’t have any worries re goals scored.

To be fair plenty on here have been consistent about him. He can obviously finish but does he have the all round game to be leading our attack for a whole season? Not for me. After all, no manager has ever built a team around Javier Hernandez.
 
I can see why he didn't play in Walcott tbh, he's a great finisher and all strikers should back their ability to score from there.

It was the wrong decision obviously, but I can't complain too much, Coleman and Richarlison had just as good opportunities to win the game for us too.
