This guy would make a great back up striker, good attitude, can do it in the prem - but he just is not a striker for the level we are looking to reach

Which is I think what I accepted when we bought him. Probaly what we accepted as well. We sold lukaku for three times the price, so anyone expecting tosun to come in and replace him were in cuckoo land, and then this summer we had a lot more pressing measures.

I look forward to who brands can find, but tosun will be fine for this season for me, everyone's just going a bit overboard after a bad game for the club. We still have options with Walcott if we want to go for a pacey striker.

He hit a great effort from a great pass from,I think, Siggy, and had a couple of headers.I think he had a good game, as did Siggy,apart from the miss at the end, which he should have nailed, from a beautiful vollied touch by Niasse. Once again,we became more of a threat once Niasses threat was introduced....this is going to be a regular ploy by Silva throughout the season. Its early days yet...beat West Ham and we're well in the mix with good players yet to come in,or at least be available. Still say for 13 million Shaquiri would have been a good deal for the squad, but we missed our chance, some time before the RS looked at him.

I said the same about shaqiri but with richarlison and Bernard in we have no need for him. Getting Bernard on a free will be a much much better transfer.

Tosun has more assists and has more touches than our "creator" so far

Cenk needs a goal badly...
Needs to be more of a nuisance & get into goalscoring positions...
DCL looked far more dangerous & more likely to score than Cenk & did in fact...
Does he have that predator instinct that he needs to score ugly goals or tap ins on the six yard box...

Just saw some clips from yesterday and that was borderline assault on him for that header he missed late on. A flying fist into his face but not a foul apparently.

The one first half was a possible pen too but to get neither is ridiculous. What was the ref looking at not to see the fist??

I like him. If we’re a team making tons of chances we can afford to swap him and Dom around. When we’re creating little Cenk needs to play as he’s more likely to be the one finishing them off.
