Hahaha oh come on, I knew you were going to use his Hull goals. Unfortunately we won’t be able to make a fair comparison until we loan Tosun out to a lower PL club for half a season if you’re going to use that one.

Actually that what makes Niasse's achievements more impressive.

I only saw the goals last night and was very impressed with Cenk’s headed assist.

Let’s not kid ourselves though, whilst his finishing and intelligence is good he’s not athletic enough to lead the line. He’s a decent option off the bench though.

I have a feeling he will go on a run at some point this season. The midfield and wide positions actually have legs this season.

I've always thought it is such a shame that Tosun didnt have that bit more pace.

From what I have seen, he has the ability as a goalscorer when he gets in the space but doesnt have the pace to make that space often enough. I trust the coaching staff to know better than me but I would be trying everything to make him a little more explosive.

Think your gonna need a bit more than Dwayne Chambers for that.

If you don't have pace you have to be good at holding up and Tosun can't do that either, He's ready made for slower paced leagues sadly.

Unfortunately in premier league terms, Cenk's run would only qualify as a slow jog.

His only chance of being a succesful Premier League player is he is paired with a far better athlete up top in a 4-4-2. We don't play that. I rate that chance quite low, because he's not great with his back to goal.

...he came in and scored a few goals, but in his more recent appearances he also missed quite a few chances. 8 goals in 39 appearances doesn’t suggest he’s exactly prolific, the Manager won’t want the whole team model changing to compensate for Tosun’s obvious weakness.
