I think the message is what a lot of us feel and it's nice not to be fed faceless corporate bullshit.

Lets give the man a break and take the message as it was intended. He knows it's not great at the moment and that we need investment and a better second half of the season.

It baffles me how people can still see wrong in it.

He hoped our squad gets fit, he hopes Moyes has a nice break and he hopes the Club has money.

Even I cant fault that message at all, its much better than Uniteds, they should have just put a big pound sign and "Thanks for the money you tramps".

Just got a voice in my head of a dirty manc swaggering with his arms flayling like a tit.

Exactly. And that's from someone who doesn't like him very much at all.

BB - my original point stands mate, now about that apology - b.kenwright@evertonfc.com.

Be a good sport.

I just wish we had some money, just £20-25m each window, its not a lot really. Buttons to a trillionare.

Yeah well we all know that's all is really needed, and I believe we are really close to getting that. There are just some obstacles that have caused an issue.

It's not a case of someone coming in with enough to buy the club and fill Moyes' pockets. There are shares to buy, financial forecasts, will the owner see a return on an investment, is there a possibility of a running profit throughout the season?

All these things need to be considered.

Trouble with buy outs like West Ham and Pompey, people think it's so simple why have we not got that - well what exactly have they got? Sod all really, apart from a pain in the arse and unpaid players.

Newcastle got relegated because of a power struggle.

Liverpool are imploding.

QPR are backed by billionairres but are not really seeing much

City can't defend

Arsenal have the inability to buy experienced quality

and so on...

But as BB said, even if we had that money and bought players in Moyes would still fall short in his capabilities as a manager so it probably wouldn't change a thing for us.

*runs and hides*

"I wish for the arrival in Liverpool L4 of the elusive billionaire we all crave."

WTF!?

He's got a man sitting next to him in the boardroom right now worth nearly £200M and another one who works him as a glove puppet worth billions. They're right under his nose. Maybe Bill should ask them what their intentions are now that their Kirkby stadium gravy train has come to nought.

Elusive billionaire...thern he wonders why people think he's a phony cnut.

Apropos of fcuk all....Merry Christmas. (y)
