He's took it to a whole new level.

God Bless our Davek.

Can I ask, who would you consider to be a good chairman?

The thing about Carter (besides flaunting his Thatcherism all over the shop during the 80s when people who supported the club were on the bones of their arse because of his demented boss) was the way he nurtured the local hackery's claim that he was 'the most successful chairman in the club's history'. WTF does that mean? He didn't sack HK and along with Kevin Brock is the reason we went on to dominate? Pffft!! He's just a useless bouffanted show dog patronised by the Moores family and discarded when he was no use to them.

Good chairmen are people like Bill...but who dont chat [Poor language removed] and have loads of dosh.

Im still looking 25/8.

Lord Grantchester and the Moores family

RESULTS FOR 2009
Ranking: 32=
Worth: £1,200m
Source of wealth: Retailing and football pools

Checking the football results has been a routine for the Moores family for generations. Grantchester, 58, is the grandson of Sir John Moores, who founded the Littlewoods pools business in 1923. The family, which expanded into mail-order catalogues and retailing, has long connections with both Liverpool and Everton football clubs. Grantchester is a shareholder at Goodison Park and donated £100,000 to the Everton Collection Charitable Trust, which has an enviable archive of football memorabilia including medals, shirts and programmes. The Labour peer is also a trustee of the Foundation for Sport and the Arts. Sir John, a philanthropist who was made a freeman of the city of Liverpool, died in 1993. His daughter, Lady Grantchester, 83, is the matriarch of the family, which began selling off its department stores after her father's death, followed by the pools side of the business. In 2002, the remaining shops and the mail-order operation were bought by the Barclay brothers (qv) for £750m. Despite these disposals, Grantchester is not one to take things easy. A former president of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, he runs a 550-acre farm in Cheshire.
