Given the rhetoric, and what UEFA have said, and the PL put out earlier, I'd be amazed if they let 6 clubs, who will.have hundreds of millions more, continue to play.

You can never say never, but I'd be amazed.

It would be akin to your spouse saying they are shagging your mate, but what to come over for Sunday lunch and to have their washing done. If you have ounce of self respect, or sense, you just say no.

I would be very surprised if talks dont happen to boot them out.

The other curveball is Sky/Bt. They have formed a rival competition, on a rival network. They will play their kids in the PL. Theres no way they will have it.

I've sat in meetings, and I'm not half as smart as these execs, but it's so obvious that you cannot allow them to stay. You're only play is to react in kind. You might not win, but at least you have a chance.

If the threat of them losing PL status us put there, maybe some re consider. That's your only play.

And it would prove the PL can't live without them - they'd insist on selling their own TV rights and FFP rules being made stricter, on threat of walking away. Competitiveness, as far as it currently goes anyway, is gone whichever happens. If they leave we're all financially screwed so that won't be happening

This. Why on earth people just think this is going to end in these clubs getting everything their own way I do not know.
