If clubs break league rules, then clubs have to be punished. There is unfortunately no way of punishing a club without punishing fans. Every decision in football that is given against a club will also hurt the fans. Be it a league expulsion, a club fine, or even just a bad refereeing decision!

The clubs need to be punished. Reforms need to be made. And deterrents need to be in place. Otherwise this will resurface again down the line.

Wrexham once got docked a large number of points because a previous owner had deliberately put them into administration so he could filch the ground - the auditors fortunately stopped him, a new regime was installed but the points were still taken away.

This lot have to be sanctioned now, no European football next season unless City or Chelsea win the CL and any attempted repeat of this to be punished with immediate expulsion.
