Champions League revamp

No they don't have a god given right for sure. I hear and respect your view, I'm of the opinion that a country wide opposition by football fans was what changed the clubs views, and as such it was enough to stop these owners making millions on the world stage, overthrowing the business decision and sending a clear message to these organisations. My opinion anyway.
Fair enough. I believe that it has "collapsed" because agreements have been made with uefa and the domestic leagues which we will likely never be informed of. I would imagine the owners have still made millions from this one way or another. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But without a punishment for breaking the rules, it won't stop them trying again. They will always chase more money.

No mate, im made up that football has won.

Do you want to cry over the widespread corruption in football?

Tears in the rain.

The ESL being suspended is an afterthought to me now. What comes next is most important. This is a real turning point to incite positive change. If all you feel is joy for the suspension and no anger towards anything else you may as well just support a cricket team as football has stopped meaning something to you.

it could be a massive legal bunfight with rich people on either side and plenty of lawyers who want to be richer, and probably will be. Leaving a legal agreement to join another, to leave that and try and go back. Difficult to defend that position. KAGS
Could well be, arch, if the '6' have legally signed up to the Super League. If they have, as I said, they would first of all have to ask permission to tear up the contract they signed with the Super League. Not an easy thing to do with something that has obviously been months in the planning, and involves sums in billions.

A lot more to come in this bunfight. Nowhere near over yet...

They’ll be at it again within 12 months. Some tweaks to the format, even more money, a concession to having a promotion/relegation aspect to it, but some mechanism by which they are always in it every year.

The 14 PL clubs need to work hard behind the scenes to make changes and clip the wings of these scab rat b@stards.

Rats fleeing a sinking ship all wanting a pat on the back for standing down ffs.

Mark my words, they will get away it and they'll be no repercussions! Look a UEFAs "welcome back to the family" bollocks they issued to City when they caved in. Business as usual!
They really shouldn't, there should be repercussions but I fear you're right.

There will be more to this story. We dont quite know what they signed up to. Its possible they broke league rules but we don't know.

This will run on. They might still be punished but it won't be serious and it certainly won't happen at 11 at night
People will pay a price for this.

Im just not sure it will come in the form of sanctions.

I don't think there will massive hunger from the Other14, UEFA or The Premier League.

Personally.

But, people need to make sure this can never happen again.

I wouldn't be surprised if The Premier League are updating their rules as we speak, cos that Rule 9, it only says they cant, nowhere does it say what the punishment is, I think the grey area will be removed, the Rules will be changed.
