This was inevitable. Although TS are saying it is a board decision, not a voting matter. Although, I'd guess the wishes of clubs would influence the board and any decisions they make.

I'm of the thinking that the clubs that are doubtful about sanctions are nearly as bad as the six.

The only real way you hit these clubs is by European bans, fines are useless as they would gladly pay to move on, points deductions only last a short time and it wont be big enough to stop them other than the one season. Ban from Europe for a significant length of time i.e. five years, and it removes a massive financial incentive through the competition and sponsorships plus it reduces the number of players that want to play for the clubs including those already at the clubs.

With this whole debacle it's officially become clear as anything that the games 'elite' are infallible and it will forever remain that way, so what's the point??

Never, ever gonna happen. They want them in Europe, they’ve just given them a free pass to enter Europe if they fail in the league.

At the risk of sounding silly, we absolutely could.

What the 14 would need to do is get in contact with the football league. Create a new division between the Championship and the Premier League. Call it Division 1, and have it ran by the Football League. Promote 10 teams from the championship to make it a 24 league team, then stop promotion and relegation from the Premier League.

Rebrand the rest of the Football League pyramid. So the Championship becomes Division 2, League One becomes Division 3, and League Two becomes Division 4. The FA and UEFA then give the European spots to Division 1 places. Lastly, renegotiate the TV deals. Likely taking a bit of hit, but that would just even the gap between the 14 ex Premier League teams and 10 promoted Championship teams.

Then just leave the scab six to rot in the Premier League. There would be absolutely nothing any of them could do about it. And they would finally have thier closed league. If they want to re-enter the football league, then they start from the bottom. Like Wimbledon had to do.

I'm sure I'm missing some finer details, but that would be ideal to me

Why would anyone in their right minds create a league below the Prem. Just create one called the super league and invite six team in from the Championship. Just ditch the Prem and don’t invite the scab six to join.....

I mean, they want you and everyone else to give up by thinking it's hopeless

That's how they win

You might still lose by going on and on about it and not letting it drop, but it's also the only way you have any chance whatsoever of winning

This is a very delicate situation now

If protests and such from fans of the "Other 14" start happening then it might have a positive result

This is the exact wrong time to give up
