Champions League revamp

They need culling and would be replaced in time (uefa hate city anyway - don't forget they were in league 2 not so long ago, ffp was built to stop city and it failed) - shove this "biggest asset" and business model crap where the sun don't shine fella.

These clubs tried to kill uefa and the game of association football.

Uefa needs to go as well, not fit for purpose.
Problem is, we are relying on greedy fatcats to punish even fatter fatcats!

This 'punish the owners and not the fans' narrative is flooding the internet now. Whilst I sympathise with the fans, and the blame is squarely on the owners, they ultimately control the actions of their clubs. A precedent has been clearly set with points deductions in the past. Or are the fans/members of staff of Leeds, Wrexham etc less worthy than the fans of these clubs?

Absolute gang of sh1thouses the other clubs.

When the RS and hateful 6 were complaining to whoever it was over City’s FFP they weren’t wanting individuals to be punished they wanted the entire club to be punished and banned from the Champions League.

Ridiculous argument. If it's true, it's a complete lack of courage and guts.

Where was the moral outrage when Wigan went down last year, or when Sheffield Wednesday go down this year due to starting on negative points.

Anyone else still utterly fuming? The weaseling out is just as bad as the original act.

All this nonsense about not punishing the fans. These fans have been happy to watch their billionaire owners give them almost guaranteed success for years and years and now that their owners have messed up they all want to wipe their hands of their owners and puff up their chest and say "it wasn't our club". It's a joke.

They never hesitated that clubs got point deductions for being financially irresponsible. And yet when 6 clubs bring the entire game into disrepute and are irresponsible to the game itself, you start spouting bilge about not punishing the fans.

Games still an utter mess.

BS....and Sky blatantly pushing their own agenda out there again....Liverpool and United can do whatever they want and Sky will support them football wise...no punishment can possibly risk them having a poor season next year, and their fans unsubscribing to Sky for the season because they can't win it..

If this had been done by just the other 4 clubs, Sky would be pushing for points deductions for them relentlessly right now...

They never thought like this back in May 1985.

There is a level of deception here that cannot go unpunished and I'd argue it should apply to BOTH individuals and the clubs they represent.
1. No individual from any of the Judas Six should be allowed on any Premier league committee for 10 years. Not just the person, any representative of those clubs.
2. All six clubs should be docked 6 points for the season 20/21. That's not enough to impact the title but it will a) reduce prize money and b)impact qualification for European competition in 21/22 - both of which directly impact the finances of these super rich clubs.
There has to be an impact to their prestige and their wallet.

Have you seen some of the arguments on social media?

“Punish them”

“ThE FaNs ShOuLd NoT Be PuNiShEd”

“Why not? Pompey, Saints, Bury, Charlton, Bolton, Wigan etc... were all punished for breaching rules”

“DaTs BeCoZe DeY WeRe In DeBt ItZ DiFfRaNt”

One of the arguments I’ve just seen.

Unbelievable.

Protecting their interests/assets - if the league had happened they'd be crying like pussies now.
Sadly this isn't a brave new world now like the media are peddling - it's just as you were pre Sunday.
The whole game has gone forever.
