Exactly the sort of rumours City’s PR machine would be happy to start.Rumours coming out that city was in to exploit the 11 clubs and never part of it.

The fact that the Government is 100% behind the FA on this might have a sway in any courts thinkingRight, that's UEFA's counterargument. It's not certain which way the court is going to break on that. The law leaves them enough flexibility to break either way. Your argument is persuasive, but I'm not the judge so your ability to persuade me doesn't matter.
It's a heck of a piece of semantics to hang a multi-billion dollar lawsuit on, plus associated legal fees. Do the 14 Prem clubs really want to stake their entire ventures on the courts breaking their way on that?
Obviously, the other side is betting that they won't.
Lol the reaction of tbe 12 clubs fans has gone from " relegate us, ban us from Europe " to " well, ya know, we didn't actually do anything wrong" in record time

These make me sick, they've literally come into some money in the last 15 years and they think they are a genuine elite club, same as Spurs, big ground = big club. It makes no sense. City are rich they are not a big club. This is the crap that City fans received last night before the game:
Dear Supporter,
I am writing to you regarding the events of the past few days.
I am sorry it has taken a little time, but the circumstances have been somewhat exceptional and it was important to me to contact you directly.
As you know, Manchester City has formally enacted the procedures to withdraw from the group developing plans for a European Super League.
As always, when we make choices and decisions, we do so with the best interests of the Club in mind and we believed that being part of such an initiative could give us a voice that might be imperative to our future ability to succeed and grow.
However, in making that choice we failed to remind ourselves of the unbreakable link between the passion of our fans and the right to have the opportunity to earn success. It is a truth that is fundamental to the DNA of Manchester City and the Board deeply regrets taking a decision that lost sight of the historic values of the Club. We made a mistake and we sincerely apologise to our fans for the disappointment, frustration and anguish caused by the last 72 hours.
I want to personally assure you that the Owners, Chairman, Board and staff are completely committed to ensuring that the club continues to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing well-being of both the English and European football pyramids and their associated competitions. We will embrace the opportunity to earn back the full trust of our stakeholders and the football family in general.
I thank you for taking the time to read this and I extend my thanks to you for your continued support.
I look forward to welcoming you back to the Etihad Stadium as soon as circumstances allow.
Yours sincerely
Ferran Soriano, CEO

Chelsea I consider a big club as much as it pains me as they've built it now City still early doors. Mind you they still have less titles than this little club.At least City act like a big club I suppose. They are winning titles and cups consistently. Tottenham have won as many cups as Wigan Athletic over the last however long. No league title in 60 years but consider themselves a big club lol
Good, live within your means like everyone else then
Yes, but there are also rumors of an 18 team British Premier League that brings Celtic and Rangers in, and the only way I see 14 votes for that is if Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Spurs are the four teams that get voted off the island down to the Championship.
So, yeah, there's a lot of stuff being said right now that I don't necessarily believe.

This for example.
He knows this is a lie. He must do.
Top players are available at the maximum possible plausible price. The clubs dictate that price. If Dortmund say "£500m" and people don't think he's worth that, so be it - that's how valuation literally works.
If all the top clubs are so skint (hint, they're not, but let's go with it) that they can't afford to get Haaland for, say, £150m, then he'd go for whatever value they could afford.
If the Super League happened, all that would mean is Haaland's value would double overnight.
It's a nonsense argument. Anyone with half a brain can see through it. So he's either insane, or trying Trumpian tactics... badly.
