Champions League revamp

they have just signed Konate by all accounts - it’s not the 130 or the 300

I'll be honest mate, I dont think that would be the best indicator.

What's clear is certain teams who have left feel its 8m.

RM think its 300m. Other suggestions 130m.

None of us have seen the contracts. I'd imagine legal teams will end up deciding, probably behind closed doors.

There must be good reason why Real, Barca and Juve are still in despite obviously Super League is dead in a water

Funny how Bayern and PSG appear within the SL contract even though we were told all week that they were never invited to take part.
According to NY Times both Bayern and PSG were invited. Last Thursday Laporta (Barca president) informed Tebas (La Liga president) about launch of super league, Tebas then immediately contacted Ceferin and heads of FA and Serie A

Ceferin was also helped by Bayern and PSG who informed him of the timing of the launch of ESL (Sunday night). So according to article UEFA and FA in cooperation with Bayern and PSG launched coordinated attack in early Sunday through media campaign. Thats why Perez is pissed off and anti-UEFA campaign is currently trending in Spain

Also story that one Spanish club (most likely Atletico) and one English (probably Chelsea) called Ceferin in Friday and told him they were pressured to join.

Been thinking about the only punishment these Scab 6 teams should have which doesn't effect the "supporting customers"

The No's

Points Deduction
- No ruling for it so no precedent so tough to implement. Also when does it come into effect, this season, City, United and Arsenal could still get Champions League in effect via the league or Europa.

Fine - Pointless they'll just pass it through losses onto the supporters via "Covid" losses so no.

Possible

Transfer Embargo
- Again never been set at this level only similar arrangement was when FIFA banned Chelsea for 2 window ban from signing any players which was later reduced to 1 via appeal. A year without transfers in, those 6 have strong enough squads to complete a season so no much of a disadvantage.

European Ban
- For clubs who didn't want to play in UEFA competition, let's do that. A 2 year ban from all competitions for all clubs. Managers and Fans of these Scab 6 won't have to moan about weird kickoff times, they'll don't have to play so many games and their players don't miss out on International tournaments either. Their lack of extra revenue might be bad but they'll also save from extra bonuses in players contract. Fans save money not flying abroad (except RS home fans).

Most Likely

Board Resignations, New Rulings and slap on the wrist
- Premier League will want those 6 representative removed from the meetings but they'll still hold an effect and be privileged to the confidential meetings via a "new stooge" so pointless. New rulings to be amended but all members regarding new breakaway league which impact the pyramid with huge fines. And a warning of any future incidents, brush it under the carpet and all Scab 6 tote the line "iT's uEfA's fAuLt"

That's a big deal if true, because the timing suggests that 10 Downing Street was likely also informed last Thursday.

Which doesn't necessarily mean they were on board - Johnson may have slow played the hand to coincide with the rest of the blitzkreig response.

It is very interesting indeed that Bayern and PSG sold them out in return for greater UEFA influence.
