Sorry if my opinion differs from yours and makes me a gloom merchant lol

We’ve also lost to Leeds, West Ham, Newcastle and Southampton so not sure who we lost to matters that much, I’m looking at the overall picture.

it’s based on the performances I’ve seen in the pitch, not a game of fantasy football in my head.
Edit: it’s also based on the fact that unless we are at full strength we still have players like Davies and Gomes in key areas who just aren’t up to it.

you must be watching something else lad.

you think when we have Allan back to go with doucoure and James we’re not a match? As proven WE ARE

6th/7th has to be the realistic aim looking at the table:

2 points behind WHU but with 2 games in hand on them

3 points clear of Chelsea with 2 games in hand

3 points clear of Arsenal with 2 games in hand

4 points clear of Villa with 2 games in hand

4 points clear of Southampton with 1 game in hand

WHU is the big worry who just seem to keep winning at the moment.

Arsenal another sneaking over our shoulders who seem to have been able to start getting results.

If we are to keep going strong we simply have to beat both Newcastle & Leeds anything less than 6 points isn't good enough.

No need to really worry about other teams so much as long as we get at least 20 wins.

If we beat Newcastle were only 9 wins off that.

Kane injuring both ankles last night so hes out for a few weeks.

Matip done his ligaments as well.

February is really going to be interesting if we can just pick up 3 or 4 wins.

Still got CL qualification in our hands, although the Leicester city result wasn’t the best we gained a point on Utd and Spurs and still have games in hand, we also increased our lead on some of the teams behind us.
The key games for us are the away games at the 4 grounds that we always lose at,

We aren’t finishing top 4.

Close thread, good while it lasted, bring on next season, hopefully we can be champions then, champions of the championship!

In all seriousness though imagine thinking our players had the fight and determination to see us finish in the top 4 rolled over against Newcastle with no fight.

Too many tippy tappy players in this squad of ours and very few fighters.

No wonder Richarlison looks fed up. Godfrey and Allan aside no one with a bit of bite in them. Even Mina before with that daft ice pack come on lad.
