Championship positives

I doubt the RS would spend money on a smaller stadium, unless they have the intention to use it for their women’s team and u23 sides.
It will cost them a lot more than Bellingham would have.
They could play their Super League games (*) in one stadium, PL/FA Cup/etc games in the other. Seeing as it would likely be two separate squads, it would kind of make sense to the money grabbing [Poor language removed]

(*) Presuming of course that they don't blow their transfer dealings as badly this summer as they have in the last few windows.. or else they'll have to appeal to the powers that be to make special allowance for them to be allowed entry

HAHA In your life time? How old are you? you must be about 100+, no club was as big as United even in the 70s when they went down, even in the mid 80s United were bigger, look at when we beat them 5 0, it was a massive deal because it was United
Manchester United were a 'big' club in the mid to late 1950's because they had an exceptional team which would eventually have been overtaken. We didn't refer to clubs being big then, btw.

The plane crash in Munich kept a focus on them even after they became mediocre and nothing has changed.

There have been a lot of better teams than Utd from time to time over the years and Everton has been one of them, quite a few
times.

The title of this thread is so moronic I don't even have the energy to rip into it.

The only 'positive' I can think of is the new Sky TV deal for 2024/25-2028/29 - even if we went down two seasons running, it's incredible for a sub-premier domestic comp.

No idea how much that patches up the gaping wound from no Sky/BT PL games like. Assuming the club's very existence can even withstand a League One cameo.

Anyone care to stop me reaching for the razor blades and bleach?

Ok positives

*Championship is a more exciting and competitive league than EPL.
*Championship has greater atmosphere than EPL.
*Everton should win more games.
*Surely it will spell the end of Bill Kenwright with a revamp of the board.
*Overpaid crap will surely be let go.
*More home games at Goodison Park.
*No reason to watch the Premier League or pay attention to it.

Question is, who would be our nearest rival?

Preston? Wigan and Blackpool went down.
