Championship positives

Administration
Points deduction
Years in wilderness
New stadium sold to RS
Being within 100 yards of people from Stoke
All good!
I doubt the RS would spend money on a smaller stadium, unless they have the intention to use it for their women’s team and u23 sides.
It will cost them a lot more than Bellingham would have.

So with relegation looking likely I was thinking of a few positive things and here’s what I came up with

NO matches against the RS
NO VAR
Everton might win a game
More Everton(could be a negative)
Hopefully a complete rebuild but unlikely with the board
Any more?
On a serious note, there are really no positives, must not happen to this massive club of ours

What difference will it make if we are relegated? Same number of fans going to the games, same number posting on here. What are you talking about?

I'm not sure why you've taken my post so sincerely. I just thought less fans would visit if we're relegated? Apologies if that offends.

Before Munich.... Everton's average gates were higher than Utd's practically every season .... even when Utd won the league in mid 50s. They didn't take over us till the late 60s.

Even by the early 90s we had won more league titles than them right? SAF won 13 and United have won 20 in their history - unless I have my numbers wrong.

Just had a thought: what would relegation mean for this dear site? I'd imagine less traffic. Hopefully there's a plan in place.

The shelter thread will be a bit full.

We aren't going down. If we do, own it, suck it up hold your heads high because it has to be the best thing that happened to us. It's not Everton that got relegated, it's the rats in charge and the rats that want us down. Maybe it's time the wasps nest got booted? New stadium, new dawn, finally some silverware albeit a championship title then who knows.

We won't go down.

I’d assume that the traffic would stay same? People won’t stop supporting Everton if we go down, and it will still be a place for people to vent/moan/cryarse and have a laugh.

Plus the Fit Birds thread will still be around.

Just so we've said some positives. Some of our young players will get their chance (got a few who are up to the Championship, done well on loan).
If we somehow, got promoted as champions. It would be nice to have a trophy at Goodison to say goodbye.

But I agree it would be awful.
