Chances of Patterson playing

I am guessing it will be Kenny starting in a back four with Coleman rested. But I hope for our sake and yours that he gets in. I think he will - we're allowed five subs in the FA Cup don't forget. Excited to see him out there.

Hope this is allowed. My youngest son is Patterson daft and has decided Everton are now his English team. I’ve always had a soft spot for them and I’d promised him we would go to a few Everton home games this season. Daft idea but seeing as Rangers aren’t playing I thought we’d head to Hull instead of waiting. A bit late to try and sort Away tickets so I’m able to get home end tickets and have told him to sit on his hands (he’s 7 so don’t know how easy that will be). I’m just wondering what the chances of Patterson playing as it’s a 5 hour drive from Glasgow and it will be a sore one sitting in the wrong end if he doesn’t get any game time. Anyways I appreciate nobody can be certain but just thought I’d gauge the opinion.

As its a cup game, against Hull .. there could very well be a chance . But with Rafael in charge , no one knows !

Without doubt, start both the new lads. That rubish about them 'not trained for 2 weeks so might not be fit'... they wont get match fit on the bench fat head. They're professional athletes. Everything Benitez says bugs me.

It will go one of two ways, he will play tomorrow and every game til end of the season so the manager can make the point of why he signed him, or he will make about 3 appearances and be out on loan by next Christmas.

The Hull ends will be half empty mate,they aren't that passionate about football,Rugby leagu and cricket territory . We should have been given more tickets,only got 3 and half thousand.

Cheers everyone for the info. Going to go anyway as he’s buzzing (we both are) so will be good for him to see the other players. Coleman (although not now at his best) was always a player I liked so if Patterson isn’t playing it will be good to at least see Coleman play. Special thanks to Dave K for his input. The kid is 20 and has grafted his arse off from the age of 8 for this opportunity, maybe give him a bit of time before judging him.

Anyways thanks again and hopefully next time it will be at Goodison and we are in the home end.
