You don't know that though do you.

Where did i say the figure we were likely to receive is less than £16m ? I'm going off what the official Everton line is, the deal could reach a figure 'in excess of £16m'. If it was possible we could earn considerably more than £16m then logic suggests they would say so.
Depends how the club want to spin it. Can you imagine the turmoil on GOT if the statement was 'could earn in excess of £28 million' but we were not told that was based on us qualifying for the group stages of the Champ's League twice?
I somehow don't think there's been much, if any, spin by the club over this deal.
Therefore you're looking at £5m or perhaps a bit more per year.
Villa were paid (according to the link in this thread) £8m by Genting in 2012/13.
Does the link in this thread provide any sources?
They're now getting £5m a season from Dafabet. A team who finished bottom half last season and look to be doing so this year getting the same terms, basically.
Again, I wouldn't be so sure that's the exact figure they will receive. These contracts are not written on a seasonal basis; there's far too many variables. It's always a long term deal, related to success. It's a football clubs only selling point when it comes to dealing with businesses who earn far superior profits than they, as a football club, could ever hope to make.
The board never exceed commercially, that's what is so embarrassing. They constantly say how our sponsorship deals are 'the biggest in the club's history', which is hardly the highest boundary to set, that should be the basic aim of any renewed deal surely ?
Depends, as always, by what we do on the pitch. If you hold your position/status, then due to inflation you should see a slight increase over time (which we have.) If you improve on the pitch, that should also be reflected over time. What happens if you go backwards as a team though?
I see Bangkok Bob dragged Greg O'Keefe with him for the trip to Thailand to make sure the echo readership understood the importance of the extra 1.3m a year.
Shame that bobby took the wind out of the echo,s sales pitch when Bobby told everyone at the press conference today that it would make zero impact on his transfer plans.
A wise man once said: Evertonians are born, not manufactured
Maybe when so much of this deal depends on shifting shirts they should start making sure everyone in the PR photos actually wear genuine shirts.
Not much point seeing as we're going with a new/badge/kit/manufacturer in a few months...
still looks daft all them kids having just generic blue shirts with the Chang logo on them. No sign of "Everton" at all.
Subliminal mate. It's a publicity thing for Chang in their homeland. They're not expecting anybody else to be wearing royal blue footy kits with their logo on.
seems like they're promoting Chang FC, not Everton.

It's Thai Bev's academy, not ours. They are associated with us but not an official part of Everton.Maybe when so much of this deal depends on shifting shirts they should start making sure everyone in the PR photos actually wear genuine shirts.
We will never have Chang on kits kits as it's illegal, you no advertising alcohol on kids shirt.
If the FA ever get the non alcohol sponsors passed then we might see a bigger deal of someone.
I suppose we not qualified for Europe for a few years, as well as Everton probably get Chang a lot cheaper with this deal then they would from other beer companies.
Feels like it should be 10mil a year as we want to progress
