He should be sitting on 2 goals (Palace and West Ham) and 4 assists ( Palace, Brentford x2, Wolves ) in the 4/5 games he's played in.

If that kind of form doesn't warrant a 15m purchase, I don't know what does.

There's simply too many upsides to the signing to say "mmm I think we can get better for 15m"

Yeah, I think we’ve seen enough to not play games and get this done.

Already good, with room to improve, at a decent price.

Let's hope the club is smart with this transfer. We've wasted far too much money on absolute dross over the years but it looks like Thelwells parting gift may very well be one of the best pieces of business he's ever done.

Judging by Moyes' comments when Alcaraz arrived, I'd say Moyes had very little to do with this particular transfer and has been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Alcaraz.

I wouldn’t even really credit Thelwell with Alcaraz either tbh. His club approached us rather than the other way around apparently.

I think more transfers happen this way than people think.
